High-intensity micro-focused ultrasound (HIFU)
High-intensity micro-focused ultrasound (HIFU) acoustic energy, known to propagate much deeper through tissue than laser or RF energy, has been previously investigated for use in bulk heating for the treatments of solid organ tumors 8-10 and recently adapted for the treatment of subcutaneous lipolysis. The ultrasound waves penetrate into tissue, leading to vibration in molecules at the site of beam focus. The friction between tissue molecules produces heat and thermal injury at the focal site of the beam. Penetration depth is determined by frequency in which higher frequency waves produce a shallow focal injury zone and lower frequency waves have a greater depth of penetration to produce focal thermal injury zones (TIZs) at deeper layers. HIFU allows for more precise energy delivery as a result of advances within the system to better address the needs of skin laxity.
How HIFU Lifting Works
Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS)
The HIFU Ulteray machine is able to penetrate deeper into tissue than its nonsurgical predecessors in an effort to affect superior tissue tightening and longevity of results by selectively targeting the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS).

What is Ultharepy?
Ultharepy is a non-surgical ultrasound treatment for counteracting the effects of time and gravity on your skin. How does the Ultharepy procedure work?

What should I expect during treatment?
40° C (hot shower temperature). Your skin temperature will be constantly monitored. Depending on the size of the treatment area, treatment may take between 30-45 minutes. The treatment is relaxing, pain-free, and carries no side effects.
How long does Needle RF treatment take?
The topical anesthetic cream requires 20 to 30 minutes to take effect prior to treatment, and then the treatment takes 20 to 30 minutes, including aftercare. So, each session requires approximately 1 hour.
How many treatments are required to see the results?

Can you use radiofrequency and hifu on same treatment on same day or would they be separate?? If you can use at same time what is best procedure for this?

Thanks for your question.
Basically, both of them are aimed for the same result, so we don't recommend you use both on the same treatment on the same day.
But there is a treatment interval, for example, HIFU will need to be repeated 6 to 12 months apart after the initial treatment.
Micro-needling RF interval could be 4 weeks, so you can do treatments based on the interval.
For example, micro-needling treatment first, after 2 weeks of recovery, then HIFU treatment, and two weeks later, the second treatment of micro-needling RF, half a year, second HIFU treatment.
