Why does our skin lose elasticity and start to sag?
Even with a healthy lifestyle and minimal sun exposure, our skin gradually loses its firm, youthful look. Aging, cumulative sun exposure, multiple pregnancies, and weight fluctuation are all factors that affect the strength and elasticity of the collagen fibers in our skin. This, in turn, causes wrinkles and sagging skin.
Can sagging skin be corrected non-surgically?
Skin laxity can be improved by employing novel non-invasive energy-based technologies. Microneedle RF is possible to tighten loose skin and promote the production of new, healthier collagen
What is the RF Cell Plus technology?
The RF Cell Plus technology is an advanced fractional microneedle RF technology that enables fractional skin resurfacing and treatment of wrinkles and scars. RF Cell Plus energy is delivered to the skin in a fractional manner via an array of micro-electrode pins. RF Cell Plus creates small zones of treated tissue in the epidermal areas which are in direct contact with the microelectrodes and delivers deep heat into the dermis. The fractional manner leaves intact zones in between the targeted areas which serve as a pool of cells reservoir that promotes a faster more effective healing process. In the epidermis, the affected spots result in small scabs that shed off the skin after a few days, leading to an improved skin tone and texture. In the dermis, treatment induces remodeling of dermal collagen (neocollagenesis) and of other dermal components. RF Cell Plus treatment enables safe, tolerable, and effective skin rejuvenation.
What should I expect during treatment?
40° C (hot shower temperature). Your skin temperature will be constantly monitored. Depending on the size of the treatment area, treatment may take between 30-45 minutes. The treatment is relaxing, pain-free and carries no side effects.
How long does a RF Cell Plus treatment take?
The topical anesthetic cream requires 20 to 30 minutes to take effect prior to treatment, and then the treatment takes 20 to 30 minutes, including aftercare. So, each session requires approximately 1 hour.
How many treatments are required to see the results?
According to your treatment program, your physician will offer a series of treatments, up to six, in intervals of one to two weeks. You should start to see improvement in your skin following the second treatment and additional improvement will gradually appear as the treatment course progresses. As new healthier collagen is formed, tighter, more natural-looking, and firmer skin will be produced. The gradual improvement in your skin will continue even after the completion of the treatment series.
Is the RF Cell Plus treatment painful?
With the correct application of topical anesthesia, it is virtually painless. It is also possible to treat a 1mm depth without topical anesthesia.
How long is recovery after RF Cell Plus treatment?
You may experience transient erythema on the treated areas for 3-4 hours initially. Occasionally, a fine scab will be formed on the skin – do not be concerned, this is an expected part of the healing process.
What is the recommended RF Cell Plus treatment regimen?
The typical interval between sessions is once every 3 weeks. Most patients see excellent results following 4-5 treatments. This may vary according to your skin condition and your physician will be better able to assess and advise you of this.
Are there any precautions after RF Cell Plus treatment?
Avoid cleansing until after the erythema has resolved itself. Cleanse your skin with cool water and dab or pat lightly with a towel. Avoid hot water. Sunscreen should be applied every day to protect your skin and you should limit sun exposure during the treatment course.
What side effects can I expect?
After the treatment, the skin may look sunburned, with large areas of redness. This redness usually fades within a few days and can be covered with makeup.

The higher RF frequency, the shorter the penetration depth. So 1MHz will go deeper than 3MHz. It's hard to say which one is better if not mention the skin situation and which treatment you want. To be honest, there is no huge difference between 1MHz and 3MHz RF as the frequency is very close. I hope this may help you. -
