Introduction of Restylane with 0.3% Lidocaine
Restylane Lidocaine by Galderma is commonly used to add volume and fullness to the skin and to correct fine lines and wrinkles on the forehead (frown lines), around the mouth (marionette lines, oral commissures), and the bilateral lines between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds). It is also appropriate for lip enhancement. The cosmetic product contains 0.3% lidocaine – a powerful local anesthetic that reduces the pain and contributes to the patient’s comfort during and after the injection. According to statistics, over 70% of patients injected with Restylane Lidocaine felt less pain in comparison with Restylane without Lidocaine.
Hyaluronic acid and aging
Hyaluronic acid is a substance, which is present in all vertebrates, dermis, joints, membranes, and the vitreous body of the eye. It has the ability to retain over 1000 times its own weight in water. For this reason, hyaluronic acid is an excellent moisturizer responsible for skin hydration. It also maintains skin elasticity by stimulating the production of collagen in the skin and works as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger.
With the natural aging process hyaluronic acid production in our body decreases, which leads to dehydration, loss of skin elasticity, and the first fine lines and wrinkles appear. And here comes the role of aesthetics. Since dermal fillers are widely used as a replacement treatment for aesthetic surgery, it is much easier to rejuvenate and say “goodbye” to wrinkles. Restylane Lidocaine is a competitive cosmetic dermal filler, which successfully fights against aging by using the natural qualities of hyaluronic acid.
NASHA Technology
NASHA (non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid) is produced by the fermentation of streptococcal bacteria. Hi guys! I am wondering if Restylane comes with the appropriate cannula and punch needle or if I need to purchase this separately? Plus could you please verify if this is Lyft or Defyne or??? I don't see any options for a different viscosity so I'm assuming (please correct me if I'm wrong), that this is for the cheek, oral commisures, etc. but I definitely would like to know prior to purchasing. Restylane with Lidocaine is the perfect filler!
*This filler lasts longer than the packaging says. The lidocaine is a huge plus. Mine lasted for 18 months until I noticed I need to add more. The lidocaine makes it painless plus numbing cream you can’t go wrong. I love most of the Restylane products, but this one is my go to!
